1. Daily Cleaning and Sensor Maintenance
After each daily operation, the first step in maintaining your ISUZU road sweeper is to clean the working surfaces of all sensors. This prevents dust and debris from interfering with accurate readings and ensures smooth automation. For dusty road conditions, clean the air filters of the main and auxiliary engines daily to protect engine performance. Additionally, rinse the inside of the garbage bins, filters, suction hoses, body, and the exterior of each component. Thoroughly wipe the glass and rearview mirrors to maintain clear visibility and safe operation.

2. Fluid Check and Leak Prevention
Regularly check the fuel, coolant, and oil levels of the main and auxiliary engines. Top up as needed to avoid unexpected malfunctions. After a period of use, check the tension of the drive belts on the sweeping fan and water pump and adjust them to optimal levels. Check the entire vehicle for leaks of oil, water, or air; if any are found, repair them immediately. Also, check the tightness of the tire nuts, all fastening bolts and riding bolts, as well as the tire appearance and pressure. Tighten or inflate as needed to ensure road safety and efficiency.

3. Water System and Filter Maintenance
Open the drain switch at the bottom of the water filter to remove accumulated debris. This is especially important in areas with poor water quality, where the water filter elements should be cleaned frequently to prevent debris buildup in the pump. Clogged filters reduce water flow and spray efficiency, directly impacting cleaning performance. Keeping the water system clean extends the life of the high-pressure pump and nozzles.

4. Sweeping Components and Nozzle Adjustment
Regularly check the grounding marks on the sweeping brushes and adjust the tilt angle of the sweeping discs. Check the ground clearance and lift height of the rigid edge below the suction nozzle and adjust the support wheel height accordingly. Check the spray pattern of the high-pressure nozzles and adjust the spray angle and overlap for optimal coverage. Check the seal of the garbage bin rear door; if any leaks are found, adjust or replace the seals promptly. These adjustments directly affect cleaning performance and fuel efficiency.

5. Regular Maintenance and Lubrication
The auxiliary engine of the wash and sweeper truck requires inspection and parts replacement every 160 working hours. Do not skip this interval. Check the lubrication condition of the main unit, auxiliary units, high-pressure water pump, and fan bearing housing. Add grease to all grease fittings without exception. After prolonged use, some parts will inevitably loosen or wear. Timely maintenance and replacement not only extend the sweeper's lifespan but also maintain its cleaning performance. Never neglect these maintenance steps—meticulous attention today can save you costly repairs and downtime tomorrow.
