Therefore, the loop pump system is widely used in domestically produced foam fire trucks in many regions, providing an economical and efficient solution for a wide range of municipal and industrial fire-fighting needs.

5. Pressure-Balanced System and Overall Operation Flow
In contrast, the pressure-balanced proportioning system uses a dedicated foam pump and pressure-balancing valve to maintain a constant pressure difference between the water and foam flow, ensuring precise mixing regardless of pump speed or discharge pressure. This system offers higher accuracy and greater flexibility for variable flow rates, but also comes with higher cost and complexity. Regardless of the mixing principle used, the final operational sequence remains the same: the pump draws water from the storage tank, the mixer mixes the foam concentrate according to the prescribed ratio, and then the resulting foam solution is delivered via hose to handheld foam nozzles or roof-mounted sprayers. In this process, air is drawn in to create finished foam, which is then sprayed onto the fire. Understanding these structural features allows firefighters and fleet managers to select, operate, and maintain appropriate foam trucks based on specific risk conditions.
